Beyond Digital

With the focus "Beyond Digital", an analogue-digital intertwined place of encounter and new connections is offered and the artistic examination of the digital is continued: How can the performing arts conceive of the digital as an artistic field of work, tool, material and reference space, while contributing and preserving their specific qualities? Can the digital space function as a meeting place in which affects can take effect and relationships can develop?


The festival is launching a mentoring programme to promote net performance practice and support artists in their critical and creative engagement with digital tools and aesthetics through practical workshops, the development of a platform on the topic and personal networking with international media artists.
